Succulent Sweet and Sour Chicken



  • 9 boneless skinless chicken thighs, (cut up in cubes)
  • 1 1/2 corn starch
  • 1 red pepper, cubed
  • 1 orange Pepper, cubed
  • 1 yellow pepper, cubed
  • 3 eggs, (beaten)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp garlic salt
  • each of a red, yellow and orange pepper, cubed


  1. Put chicken into a large mixing bowl and toss with a little salt and pepper.
  2. Toss chicken in corn starch then in the beaten egg.
  3. Fry chicken until golden brown (doesn't have to be cooked all the way through).

  4. Place chicken into a greased 9in x 13in baking dish and set to the side.

  5. Dump all ingredients into a large bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.
  6. Pour sauce over the chicken and place in the oven at 325F.
  7. Stir every 15 minutes for the next 60 minutes.
